Exploring Sierra Espuña

As I said earlier we have the new map of Sierra Espuña which shows some tracks and paths that, hitherto, we had not known about.  We have had a few days out walking and exploring these paths.  This particular walk was a "Caracol" that took us under the mountain of Pedro Lopez.  We had been told by friends that a path existed, but so far had not had the time to explore.  The path started from the camino from Collado Bermejo and, much to our surprise, was a well-trod cairned path until we arrived at the zig-zags.  Maybe because of the storm in September, but the path on the zig-zags was destroyed.  We managed to climb up on the right of the zig-zags and the path then continued.  A short rock climb/scramble took us through to the last section of the walk to the camino from Collado Mangueta.  The walk back from there was easy.  The photos are below.
